Take this advice to the bank… if at least 20-30% of your traffic isn’t being sourced from areas other than search engines and pay-per-click, then you are putting yourself in an awkward position if Google in particular, suddenly “pulls the plug” on your traffic. Where would it come from if this were to happen. At least by generating traffic from other sources, you won’t be left completely “dead in the water” if that day ever arrived.
