It is currently estimated that there are 400 million Spanish Speakers world wide which makes Spanish the third most widely used language after English and Mandarin Chinese.

In American Schools, it is the most widely taught non-English language. It is estimated that as many as 100 million people in the United States have some basic knowledge of Spanish.

Spanish is the world’s third most spoken language, after Chinese and English, and ranks second in terms of native speakers.

Across the world, an estimated 500 million people across the world speak Spanish. In the United States, 29 million US residents above the age of 5 speak Spanish at home. That’s approximately 1 of every 10 US residents.
